Utility's tubing stolen in Schuylkill

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating the theft of 60-foot reels of black hollow tubing from a flatbed trailer that had been parked in North Manheim Township.

The incident happened between 9 p.m. Oct. 2 and 5:30 a.m. oct. 3 along 7 Stars Road, at Rt. 61, in the township. The victim is PPL Services Corporation of the Lehigh Valley.

Police said the tubing was stolen when the truck was left unattended in the parking area at the above site. The equipment was strapped onto the back of the flatbed when it was stolen.
