Monroe man facing theft charge
A Monroe County man is facing a charge of retail theft.
State police at Fern Ridge said they were called ot the Weis Market, in Gilbert, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, on Sept. 27 about 12:57 p.m. for a report of a theft incident.
Troopers said Douglas Mitchell Jr., of Effort, allegedly attempted to remove $10.59 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it.
