Carbon crash

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 10:58 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, along Stony Mountain Road, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said Susan M. Viesti, 51, of Drexel Hill, Delaware County, driving a 2007 Nissan Sentra, singled to make a right turn but instead turned left in front of 1998 Subaru Outback driven by Justin A. Shelak, 29, of Northampton, causing the vehicles to collide.

Viesti, Shelak and his passengers Charlene M. Shelak, 31, and Taylor A. Shelak, same addresses, were all not injured.

Troopers cited Viesti for turning movements and required signals and Shelak was cited for overtaking a vehicle on the left.
