October 18, 1941 Vince Lisella scores a pair of touchdowns to help Summit Hill gain a 22-0 win over Mauch Chunk Catholic. Lisella opens the scoring on a one-yard plunge and extends the margin by breaking free for a 15-yard tally. The Hillers, coached by Wilbur Derby, add to the lead when Tommy Bonner reaches the end zone from three yards out. The winners seal the victory with a blocked punt that goes into the end zone for a safety.
