Theft of Halloween decorations

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of Halloween decorations from a residence in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said the theft occurred at the home of George T. Smith, 64, of 56 Mexico Rd., in Pine Grove Township. Unknown criminals removed a large plastic light-up pumpkin, a two-foot light-up pumpkin that was three tiered and a three-foot light-up ghost. Also removed was a 15-foot outdoor extension cord which was attached to the ghost. Value of the missing items was estimated at $55.

The theft occurred sometime between 8 and 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
