Panther Valley prepped for postseason play with a volleyball win over Hailfax on Saturday

Panther Valley closed out regular season play with a 25-18, 25-21, 25-23, Schuylkill League sweep of Halifax.

The Panthers got outstanding babalance along their front line as Amy Yusella had 11 kills and Deanna Focht and Chrissy Micholik added eight kills apiece. Leading the way at the service line for PV were Kristyn Gates (12 points) and Jacinda Ruzicka (11 points).

The Panthers (9-4, 12-4) will open District 11 Class AA playoff action on Saturday. The site, time and opponent will be announced tonight.
