October 25, 1968 Dan Truskey runs for one touchdown and throws for another to help Tamaqua earn a 28-6 victory over Shenandoah Valley. Truskey runs for an 18-yard score in the second quarter and tosses a 10-yard TD strike to Gary Williams in the fourth frame. The Blue Raider quarterback finishes 7-of-11 passing for 143 yards. Dave Lehatto adds a 60-yard scoring run while Jim Barron also reaches the end zone from four yards out. Steve Bilock contributes to the winning cause with 104 yards rushing on eight carries.
