Tamaqua woman facing theft count

Rush Township police are preparing charges against a Tamaqua woman and two juveniles after the trio allegedly removed items from the Walmart at Hometown Commons.

Dawn M. Valentine, 33, as well as a 15-year-old and 14-year-old, allegedly removed the items at 8:53 p.m. on Oct. 20. All three have prior retail theft convictions.
