Theft of scrap metal probed

State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of scrap metal from a Schuylkill County location.

Troopers said Curtis L. Vanblargan, 66, of Shenandoah, reported scape metal was stolen from his property at 518 Miller Rd., in North Union Township, sometime between 4 p.m. on Oct. 21, and 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 22. The metal was in the yard of the property, troopers noted.
