Schuylkill crash

One of two drivers involved in a crash about 7:05 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the intersection of Valley Road and SR4007, in Cass Township, Schuylkill County, will be charged.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said James W. Hogan, 53, of Ashland, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu southbound on 4007 and failed to yield at a stop sign. He entered the intersection where his vehicle struck a 1996 Ford Econoline 250 truck driven westbound on 4007 by David M. Osatchuck, 49, of Auburn.

Osatchuck sustained a minor injury but did not require immediate medical attention. Troopers said both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Troopers cited Hogan for stop signs and yield signs.
