Steelers' jerseys vodka, included in home theft theft

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a theft incident reported to them by a Carbon County resident.

Troopers said Nicholas George McKelvey, 51, of 577 Patten Circle, Valley View Estates, Penn Forest Township, reported he had 40 Pittsburgh Steelers' jerseys, two cases of vodka, one Game Station remote control, one Wii video game system with two controllers, one music CD and $17 in cash stolen from his new home.

He told troopers the items were apparently taken when "friends" were helping him unpack moving in boxes.

The incident was reported on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 8 p.m.
