Frackville man violated PFA order

Jerome L. DiGiovanni, 41, of Frackville, was committed to the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, on Aug. 28, on charges that he violated a Protection From Abuse order issued by the county court.

He was arraigned before District Judge Elizabeth Romig and incarcerated in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Police said he turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is alleged he made contact with a 39-year-old Frackville woman who has the restraining order against him. the incident took place in West Mahanoy Township at 1:20 a.m. Aug. 28.
