September 7, 1975 Brian Metzger scatters seven hits and strikes out 12 batters to help Lehighton gain an 8-2 win over Saylorsburg to claim the Pocono Mountain League championship. Metzger helps his own cause by contributing two hits and scoring two runs. Danny Kunkle collects four hits, two of them doubles, while Bill Kunkle adds three hits and knocks in a pair of runs.
