Monroe driver charged

A Monroe County driver was charged following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 11:50 p.m. on Aug. 25 along Bunny Lane, near Effort Neola Road, in Chestnuthill Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said Suzanne M. Bowman, 34, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 1999 Ford F150 pickup truck southbound when the vehicle left the road and traveled into the yard on the property of Kevin Aprill, HC2 Box 138F, Brodheadsville, and struck a mailbox. She then fled the scene, troopers said.

She was later located. Troopers said she is facing charges of failure to report the crash and roadways laned for traffic.
