Two drivers facing DUI charges

Two drivers are facing driving under the influence (DUI) charges following an incident in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said they found a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier in a ditch along SR115, near Long Pond Road, about 4:13 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3. The driver was identified as Lisa M. Gerber, 21, of Jim Thorpe. Troopers said she was found to be under the influence and will be charged with DUI.

While at the scene Nickolas A. Williams, 23, of Albrightsville, arrived in a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee to assist Gerber. Troopers said he was also found to be under the influence and was arrested for DUI.
