Weatherly man charged in Rush

Rush Township police have filed charges against a Weatherly man who allegedly falsely reported his vehicle as stolen.

Dylan Danko, 19, of Weatherly contacted township police on Aug. 30 to report the theft of his vehicle, which he said had been parked in the township. The vehicle was later located submerged in the Lofty Reservoir.

After questioning Danko admitted driving into the reservoir and then claiming the vehicle was stolen.

He was charged with giving false information to police.
