Golden Agers

At the Sept. 12 meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers a moment of silence was held for the victims of the 9-11 tragedy. Sue Dopira led the group singing Patriotic songs. Irene read an appropriate prayer for the occasion. Following the meeting members enjoyed playing bingo.

Next meeting will be Monday, Sept. 26 at 1 p.m.

At the meeting, an indoor rummage sale will be held for members.

Bingo is scheduled to be played.

Nesquehoning

Democratic club

The Nesquehoning Democratic Club will hold a meeting on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. in the Lions Club building.

Plans for the upcoming "Meet the Candidates Night" will be discussed.

All are invited.
