Bench warrants

Daniel Peletsky, 30, of 421 Glenwood Ave., Tamaqua, had his bail reduced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin from $10,000 straight cash to $5,000 percentage cash and he must reside at 795 Valley Road, Pottsville R.D., and cannot relocate without court approval. Peletsky awaits trail on charges brought by Tamaqua Patrolman Matthew Houser, last March of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

Bryan Demshick, 23, of 25 S. Manning St., McAdoo, had his bail reduced by Judge Dolbin from $5,000 straight cash to $5,000 percentage cash and he must reside at 141 S. Hancock St., McAdoo, with his parents and shall not relocated without court approval. He also must obtain employment and not imbibe in any alcohol or drugs while out on bail and is subject to a curfew from dusk till dawn unless he is traveling to or from work.

Demshick faces trial on charges brought by McAdoo Patrolman William Curilla, last March of simple assault, harassment, possession of a small amount of marihuana and drug paraphernalia.

Andrew Hector Alatorre, 25, of 1152 Bulldog Drive, Allentown, had his bail set by Judge Miller to $5,000 unsecured bail and he cannot relocated from the Allentown address without district attorney's permission and shall not possess nor consume alcohol beverages or illegal drugs.

He faces trial on charges brought by Rush Township police of theft of a car owned by Leonard Kufta, Coal Township, which was parked by the Air Products building; also, unauthorized use of the vehicle, terroristic threats to Emery Jacobs, a pedestrian, resisting arrest, and failure to give immediate notice of an accident. He was charged with criminal mischief by damaging a fence at the Marian Catholic High School field.

Michael Joseph Stokes, 47, Ashland, had his bail reduced from $10,000 cash to $5,000 unsecured and must reside at 718 Center St., Apt. 1, Ashland, and cannot relocate without the district attorney's permission, shall possess no alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs. He faces trial on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute and must stay away from the victim, Joanne Rodgers.

Adrienne Lee O'Donnell, 30, Ashland, had his bench warrant lifted by Judge Dolbin and bail was reinstated and he was ordered to reside at 411 Hobart St,, Gordon, and shall notify the district attorney if any change of address.

The bench warrant was issued by Judge Charles M. Miller on Feb. 22 when O'Donnell failed to appear in court. He was arrested on Feb. 27 in Ashland and committed to the county prison. He is awaiting trial on charges of alleged driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and with a suspended driver's license.

Credit card debts

Portfolio Recovery Association, Norfolk, Va., filed suit against Katherine Lucey, 248 W. Howard Ave., Coaldale, alleging she has defaulted on payment on her credit card and a balance of $3,966.42 is owed plus costs.

Portfolio also filed against Steven R. Trimmell Sr., 415 E. Grant St., McAdoo, alleging he owes a balance of $4,9876.34 plus cost on his credit card.

Missing gun

Tammy Melissa Casserly, 39, Mahanoy City, pleaded guilty to charges of tampering with physical evidence and making false report to police. President Judge William E. Baldwin deferred sentence to a later date and ordered a pre-sentence investigative report prepared by the adult probation department.

Casserly was cited by Cpl. James Cuttitta, state trooper, for removing a gun at a suicide site. The report to court claims on Feb. 20, 2010, police discovered Mark Ketusky deceased in a vehicle at the Mahanoy City Little League Complex caused by a gunshot but the gun was missing. The police conducted an intensive search and charged Casserly with removing the gun after Ketusky committed suicide.

Divorces Granted

Chad Seitzinger, Frackville, was granted a divorce from Angela Seitzinger, Halilfax. They were married Sept. 26, 2008.

Christina M. Kowalski was granted a divorce from John J. Kowalski, both of Pottsville. They were married July 2, 1988.
