Nesquehoning girl recognized

Emily Hunsicker, 6, daughter of Michael and Melanie Hunsicker of Nesquehoning was recognized for winning third place in the WVIA-PBS Go Kids writing contest.

Emily wrote and illustrated a book titled "The Dinosaur that Didn't Want to go to School". Her book will be scanned and placed on WVIA.org next month. Emily will be recognized at the Scholastic Achievement award on May 17.

She is a student at St. Jerome's Regional School.
