Retain the PV JROTC Program

Dear Editor:

To the Panther Valley School Board,

We, the members of the Coaldale VFW Post 6982, are asking you to retain the Junior ROTC program for the following reasons:

They are a big a vital help at our annual Memorial Day services.

They participate in our annual flag raising ceremony.

They play an important part in burial of our fellow veterans, via the firing squad, folding of the flag and Taps.

We consider this program important for the character and discipline development of all JROTC participants.

Thank you for your consideration of this very important matter.
