Completes doctoral work in Tennessee
Michelle Renee Keck graduated from the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine on May 12.
Keck is a 2001 graduate of Searcy High School in Arkansas, and she completed her undergraduate education at the University of Memphis in Tennessee with a bachelor of science in biology with a minor in chemistry.
While attending the University of Memphis, she was employed by the Memphis Zoo in the herpetology department and the Hope Animal Clinic in Memphis.
Keck was accepted at Tuskegee University in 2008. She was elected vice president of the Zoo Club in 2009 and president of the club in 2010.
She will be employed at the Center Moriches Animal Hospital in Long Island, N.Y.
She is the daughter of Christine Miller-Keck-Kennedy and the late Timothy Keck and the granddaughter of John and Ruth Keck of Lehighton, and Don and Lois Miller of Searcy, Ark.
