Redistricting

Mike Carroll, member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, spoke at the Western Pocono Lions Club meeting last week and discussed the redistricting.

Due to the first submitted plan being challenged, new districts will not become effective until the courts review what is now being proposed. As it stands, all present legislative candidates will run in the old districts. The new districts will not become reality until the 2014 election.
