She is employed by DELTA Resources, Inc., as an acquisitions analyst.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of the Rev. Dennis Barton and Janey Barton. He is a graduate of the University of Richmond, where he earned a bachelor of arts in international studies and history.
He is employed by the County of Fairfax, Va. as a 911 dispatcher.
The couple is planning a wedding for June 15, 2013.
