Opposed to zip line project

Dear Editor:

As residents of Bear Creek Lakes in the Penn Forrest township, we are writing to say that we would like to voice our opposition to the Navitat zip line project. We concur with other Penn Forest residents who have voiced concerns over the following: more traffic, supply trucks, noise, trash, pollution, safety concerns, crime, natural habitats being invaded and wildlife being threatened.

In addition, we are very concerned that if the Penn Forest commissioners approve this Navitat project, it could open the township up to lawsuits that may occur due to zip lines accidents and could create a liability for the township, its officials and its residents.

Can the township and its residents afford this zip line project?
