Slatington Tree Lighting

The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce will host the Slatington Tree Lighting starting at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in Slatington Memorial Park, 509 Main St., at the site of the old Slatington High School, across from Slatington Baptist Church.

Join the GNLCC for an evening of socializing, and celebrating the holiday season as a community with friends, family and fellow chamber members. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, while listening to caroling led by the Northern Lehigh Freedom Chorus. There is no charge.

Prior to the lighting of the tree, Santa will arrive by fire truck for photos with the kids.

They will be collecting unwrapped toys for the program. Please bring an unwrapped toy that will benefit a Lehigh Valley child.

Slatington Lions Club

The Slatington Lions Club will hold a board meeting at the Skeet Club at 7 p.m. Dec. 12.
