Nesquehoning couple marks 40th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Vince Gogal of Nesquehoning recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

They were united in marriage on Nov. 25, 1972 in the Immaculate Conception Church in Nesquehoning by the late Monsignor Michael Dutko and the late Rev. Paul Welkie.

The best man was Joseph Staivecki, former mayor of Nesquehoning. The matron of honor was Audrey Ann Gogal of Nesquehoning.

Mrs. Gogal is the former Gloria Hunadi, daughter of the late Emro and Ann Hunadi.

Her husband is the son of the late John and Mary Gogal.

Vince and Gloria have two children. Bryan is a graduate of Alvernia College, and Tina is a graduate of Penn State.

Vince is a retired Lehighton Area School District teacher and a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Gloria was a longtime employee of T. Lux Inc. in Jim Thorpe.
