Finalist in essay contest

Spencer Wahlmark, a seventh grade student, at Saint Joseph Regional Academy was recently named a finalist in the Junior Division of the Stand Up For Life essays. Co-sponsored by the Knights of Columbus of the Diocese of Allentown and the The Diocesan Office of Pro-Life Activities and Social Concerns, this year's theme was "On the Dignity of Life."

An awards banquet to announce the finalists was held on Jan. 15, at the Columbian Home, Greenleaf Street, Allentown.
