K of C to sponsor basketball competition

The local Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship will take place on Sunday, Feb. 12 at Saint John Neumann School Gymnasium, located at 259 Lafayette Avenue in Palmerton. All boys and girls who are 10 to 14 years old as of Jan. 1, 2012 and who have not participated in another Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship in 2012 are eligible to participate. Proof of age is required.

A parent or legal guardian must be present for the registration process, which begins at 12:45 p.m. The competition begins at 1 p.m.
