Youth soccer

The Panther Valley Youth Soccer Association will be holding spring season sign-ups tonight from 6-8 o'clock at McDonald's in Nesquehoning.

There is a sign up fee. Each family is required to participate in the fundraiser or could choose a buyout. Fees are due at the time of registration.

Summit Hill

Choir rehearsal

The choir of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill, will rehearse tonight at 7 o'clock in the church. Bob Ames, director, will be in charge and welcomes new members.

Lansford

OLOAA registration

Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, is accepting registrations for kindergarten and new students in grades 1-8. Parents can register their child(ren) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the school. They can also contact the school office to pre-arrange a more convenient time for signing up.

At the time of registration, parents must present the child's birth certificate, baptismal certificate, immunization records and a registration fee.

Democrats to meet

The Lansford Democratic Club will meet tonight at 7 o'clock in the lower level of the American Legion Post. Chris Ondrus, president, will be in charge of the session.

Coaldale

First Congregational Church

A congregational meeting will be held following the 9 a.m. Morning Worship on Sunday, Feb. 19, at First Congregational Church, Coaldale. Sunday School will be held at 10 a.m.

Ash Wednesday will be observed at a service set for 7 p.m. Feb. 22. Choir rehearsal will follow the service.

Morning Worship at 9 a.m. Feb. 26, will focus on the celebration of St. David's Day and Welsh music. Sunday School will take place at 10 a.m.
