Phillies scout presents coaching clinic

Del Mintz, a scout for the Phillies baseball team, presented a teaching clinic to approximately 20 Franklin Township Little League and Babe Ruth coaches that will help them teach the fundamentals of hitting and pitching to their players. Mintz said there are different approaches but that good batting depended on their stance, rotation and balance of the players. From left are, Dante Salerno, Chris Frederick, Peter Salerno and Del Mintz. The event was held Sunday at the Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Company.
