Historical society
The Summit Hill Historical Society has relocated its museum to the former Jean McFadden's Grocery Store, 146 W. Ludlow St.
Lee Mantz is serving as president of the organization, which was previously based on east Ludlow Street.
Members of the society are planning to hold a grand re-opening of the museum over the Memorial Day weekend. They will also have a float in the parade.
The society will further those plans at its next meeting on Wednesday, March 21, at 7 p.m. in the museum.
St. Paul Lutheran
The Rev. Peggy Sue Pfeffer, chaplain for Hospice St. John, Hazleton, will lead the worship service at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Summit Hill, on Sunday, Feb. 26. It will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Sunday school will meet at 9 a.m.
SHCIO meeting
The Summit Hill Community Improvement Organization will meet on Monday, March 5, at 7 p.m. in the Summit Hill Borough Hall. Sara Ruch, the Lansford-Summit Hill Partnership manager, will address the group and give her report as to the banners for the Ludlow Park Celebration to be held 2014 and the printing of the new walking tour brochure.
Also to be discussed will be the Hill Top Community Center sign to be put in place this spring at the new hall located on Ludlow Street.
All interested persons are welcome to attend.

Nesquehoning
Anthracite Little League
The Anthracite Little League will hold its monthly meeting on Sunday, Feb. 26 at the Nesquehoning borough building at 2 p.m.
Meed's Methodist Church
The time of the free community dinner at Meed's Methodist Church on Wednesday, Feb. 29. has changed. The new time is from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Senior Boxes will be distributed this Friday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon.
