Theft from motor vehicle probed
State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating an incident whereby a vehicle was entered between 10 a.m., Dec. 27, and 3:30 p.m., Dec. 28, in Chestnuthill Township.
Police said the victim is a 57-year-old Saylorsburg man.
He told police someone entered his vehicle at 6716 Hemlock Drive in the township and stole a battery booster pack that was in the back seat. Police said the vehicle was left unlocked at the time.
