Two Tamaqua women cited
Two Tamaqua women were cited by borough police after an altercation early Sunday morning.
Officers were in the area of the New Year's Eve celebration, at 12:26 a.m., when one of them observed two women exchanging blows in front of Freddy's Pub, 16 Mauch Chunk St.
The women were identified as Julie Herman, 24, of 12 W. Broad St., and Heather Lee Lehman, 27, of 324 Arlington St.
Both were cited for disorderly conduct.
