Germansville man facing charges

Prince Mujaj, 18, of Germansville, is facing drug-related charges as a result of a traffic stop made by state police at the Fogelsville barracks at 2 p.m. Jan. 16.

Police said he was stopped along Muse Road in Weisenberg Township for an equipment violation, after which time police detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Police said he was asked to perform a series of standardized field tests which showed signs of intoxication.

The man was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence. A consent search of the vehicle resulted in police discovering a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle,
