Slatington driver cited after crash

A Slatington driver was cited following a two vehicle crash that occurred about 6:46 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, along SR100 at Macungie Road, in Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Timothy J. Celia, 28, was driving a 2000 Ford Taurus southbound on Macungie Road and stopped at the intersection with SR100.

He then pulled out into the path of a 2003 Nissan Altima driven by Marsha L. Pierce, 33, of Macungie, and a collision occurred. No one was injured.

Troopers said Celia was cited for failed to yield the right of way.
