RON GOWER/TIMES NEWS Local MMA fighter in control Andy Beil, top, of Slatington, seems to be in control of his opponent, Colby Slonaker of Sunbury, during "Rock the Cage" MMA cage combat on Saturday in Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall. The 12-bout event was held in tribute to Jim Thorpe, the Olympian. Beil edged Slonaker in a split decision. Beil was one of five fighters on the card representing Rat Pack Fighting Systems of Palmerton. The Rat Pack fighters had a 4-1 record on the night.
