Three-way tie for first

With two weeks remaining in the regular season, R.R. Frey Services, Ryan's Oil & Heating and Schick's Café Calcutta sit tied atop the standings in the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission (ESRC) summer basketball league.

With an abbreviated schedule this past week due to the holiday, Cuz-N-Joe's Place and defending champion R.R. Frey Services picked up victories.

MONDAY'S RESULTS

Cuz-N-Joe's Place-Jimmy's O's Chicks

Cuz-N-Joe's Place snapped a three-game losing streak with a 78-70 victory over Jimmy O's Chicks.

Ethan Eichorst scored 24 points, while Brandon DeCosmo added 11 points to pace Cuz-N-Joe's.

Jarrod Welokonich scored a game-high 26 points for Jimmy O's in the losing effort.

Lucky's Deli-

R.R. Frey Services

R.R. Frey Services continued its winning ways with a 58-49 victory over Lucky's Deli.

Jeremy Frey provided most of the fireworks for R.R. Frey Services, scoring 34 points and making 13 of 15 free throws. Jason Derr backed Frey with 13 points of his own.

Shenandoah Valley head football coach Nick Sajone netted14 points in the loss for Lucky's.
