Learn to shop smart

Julie Del Priore, coupon queen, and the Tamaqua Salvation Army will once again combine forces to provide a "shop smart" workshop focusing on the ins and outs of couponing. The event will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m., July 10 at 105 W. Broad St., Tamaqua. She will offer tips on combining coupons with in-store sales events, stockpiling, store reward programs, bulk shopping versus coupon shopping and ways to spot the best deals. The program is provided as a free ministry, but participants are welcome to bring a canned good donation for the Salvation Army's food pantry. For more information, call (570) 668-0410.
