Koch graduates with honors

Kelci Koch graduated cum laude from King's College, Wilkes-Barre, on Sunday, May 20 with a bachelor's degree in medical science, and minors in biology and neuroscience. She will continue classroom studies until July, following a year of rotations with her master's degree in physician assistant next August.

Kelci was inducted on March 25, 2011 into the Alpha Epsilon Delta, which is a health pre-professional honor society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in pre-professional health scholarship and service. She was also inducted into the Lester Saidman Society in August of 2011 and the Aquinas Society in March of 2012.

Most recently, she was awarded a scholarship through the Sonny Kovatch Foundation.

Kelci is the daughter of David and Diane Koch. Kelci's grandparents are Donald and Elizabeth Simmons and Fern and the late Donald Koch, all of Lehighton.
