Beatrice Burbes celebrating 100 years

Beatrice Burbes, a resident of Hometown Nursing Home and formerly of Lehighton, will celebrate her 100th birthday tomorrow. She was born on July 17, 1912.

Beatrice is the widow of Lewis Burbes, who passed away in 1979.

She is the mother of two sons: Bruce Fritzinger, who resides in Lehighton with his wife Charlotte; and Elmer Fritzinger, who passed away 11 years ago.

A dinner is planned in her honor to celebrate this special occasion.
