July 17, 1983 Ken Stauffenburg stars on the mound and at the plate to lead Tamaqua to a 2-0 win over Hazle Township in the District 18 Little League tournament. Stauffenburg tosses a two-hit shutout and supplies his own offense by blasting a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Lance Hafer collects two hits, including the one prior to Stauffenburg's homer.
