Unconditional love

Dear Editor:

I read your article about dogs. Let me tell you I have more than my share. I watch how they interact with each other and how they guard not only me but each other.

Here is a true story that one of my puppies did for the person I gave him to have and love. I now have this dog back because of what happens and the dog is just as loving.

There is also a story of the last true walk my other dog and I had. He had lyme disease and was getting sicker.

In my life I watched another one of my dogs run across the street at my house to save my neighbor from being bitten by another dog. On the way home my dog was hit by a truck and died. Her death was not in vain. She proved to the end she loved people who were good.
