Graduates from Susquehanna
Kristopher S. Sauls, of Lehighton, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science as Susquehanna University closed its 154th academic year with annual commencement exercises on May 13. He is the son of George and Doris Sauls and a graduate of Lehighton Area High School.
Sauls's activities at Susquehanna included working for Information Technology. Sauls was recognized on the Dean's List.
In his commencement address to students, Fred A. Grosse, Susquehanna professor of physics (now professor emeritus) and the longest serving faculty member in the university's history, told graduates that perseverance is the key to success. "Don't think about the score, salary, rewards, winning or losing," Grosse said. "Just keep on playing."
Susquehanna conferred degrees upon nearly 500 students in the field house of the James W. Garrett Sports Complex.
