AMVETS to meet

The next meeting of the Lansford AMVETS Post 83 will be held on Sunday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at the Post Home. Commander Steve Banditelli will preside.

The Home Association will meet following the Post meeting.

Church services

The Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church, 44 W. White St., Summit Hill, will have two special services.

Father's Day, June 17, regular Sunday Worship will be held at Mauch Chunk Lake and followed by the annual church picnic. Worship will start at 10:30 a.m.

Sunday, June 24, summer hours begin when Sunday morning worship will start at 9:30 a.m., continuing at that time until Sept. 9.
