Joseph C. Franko III filed suit for divorce from Marie D. Franko, both of 331 E. Union St., Tamaqua. They were married Aug. 30, 2008.
Kimberly A. Letcavage, 225 Furnace St., Shenandoah, filed suit for divorce from Robert M. Letcavage, 705 Brockton Mountain Drive, Barnesville. They were married May 7,1994.
Timothy L. Evinger, 302 S. Saint Peter's St., Schuylkill Haven, filed suit for divorce from Ruth L. Evinger, 114 S. 10th Street, Easton. They were married March 17, 2007.
Clayton Spohr, 315 W. Sherman St., McAdoo, filed suit for divorce from Mary D. Spohr, 2 W. Sherman St., McAdoo. They were married July 26, 1980.

Divorces granted
James K. Kellner, 5 S. Lehigh St., Tamaqua, was granted a divorce from Mary A. Kellner, 111 W. Ninth St., Apt. 255, Clovis, Calif. They were married Aug. 11, 1995.
Jennifer Sadusky, 16 Market St., Tamaqua, was granted a divorce from Donald Sadusky, 222 Orwigsburg St., Tamaqua. They were married May 21, 2005.
Christopher M. Kerr, 218 Railroad St., Tamaqua, was granted a divorce from Crystal G. Kerr, 127 Market St., Tamaqua. They were married Oct. 16, 2004.
Ryan J. Heffelfinger, 823 Penn Drive, Tamaqua, was granted a divorce from Casey L. Heffelfinger, 145 Cedar St., Lehighton. They were married July 10, 2011.

Justine Marie Evans, 140 Penn St., Tamaqua, from Richard Thomas Evans, 231 Spruce St., Tamaqua. They were married Oct. 16, 2004.
Brian E. Sandridge, Auburn, from Pamela E. Sandridge, Reading. They were married Nov. 18, 2006.
Joseph G. Simpson, Sr., Pottsville, from Susan A. Simpson, Mahanoy City. They were married April 27, 2007.
Christopher M. Knapp from Sheeri Lynn Knapp, both of Shenandoah. They were married May 4, 2002.
Revoke ARD
Charles J. Bressler, 21, Cressona, missed a golden opportunity to clear his name of a criminal charge by being removed from the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition probation program, which gives a person a chance to clear their record if they complete the program.
Bressler was removed from the program by Senior Judge D. Michael Stine who ruled, after holding a hearing, that Bressler violated one of the conditions of his probation and that was by failing to notify his probation officer within 48 hours of a new arrest. Stine returned Bressler's case to the trial list and he now faces charges of theft of a television set and play station belonging to Aaron Leasing Company, Pottsville.
Warrant hearings
Judge Charles M. Miller ruled on three bench warrant hearings giving the defendants a second chance.
Kristen M. McCabe, 19, Shenandoah, had the bench warrant dissolved and bail set at $1,000 percentage cash and has to obey conditions set by the court.
She cannot change addresses without court permission, shall not possess nor consume alcohol or illegal drugs, and shall not travel out of the state. She faces a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle belonging to Martin Houtz, Ringtown. The bench warrant was issued when she failed to appear for a hearing before a magisterial district judge.
Matthew Craig Livingston, 27, Pottsville, had his bench warrant lifted and bail fixed at $20,000 percentage cash with certain conditions.
He must provide a written statement the district attorney with the address he would like to be released on bail and must not relocate without written permission from the district attorney. He shall not possess or consume alcohol beverages or illegal drugs and cannot travel outside of the state.
Livingston faces charges of burglary of the resident's of Brandie Haluska, 106 N. Third St., Pottsville, and theft of a television set. The warrant for his arrest was issued after he failed to appear at the courthouse for selection of a jury for his trial.
Kayla Lynn Reinhart, 116 Cherry St., Saint Clair, had her bench warrant dissolved and her current bail reinstated with certain conditions.
She must reside with Shannon O'Connell, 41 N. Railroad St., Frackville, and not relocate without permission from the district attorney. She shall not possess any alcohol beverages or illegal drugs and shall not travel outside the state boundaries.
She was charged with credit card fraud and used it to make purchases in various county stores. The bench warrant was issued when she failed to appear for a court hearing.
Violate PFA order
Senior Judge D. Michael Stine found four defendants guilty of violating a protection from abuse (PFA) orders issued by the court and imposed sentences.
Raymond Allen Steinmetz Jr., 41, Pottsville, was found guilty of indirect criminal contempt and was fined $300 and sentenced to serve 90 days in the county prison. He was found to have violated the order by making in excess of 20 telephone calls and text messages to Adrien Steinmetz, his wife.
Joshua Lloyd Smith, 31, Schuylkill Haven, was found guilty of indirect criminal contempt and was fined $300. He was found to have violated his order of staying away by having verbal communication with Leann Smith.
Jose Alfred Echevarria, 20, Reading, was adjudged guilty of indirect criminal contempt and was fined $300 and committed to the county prison for 12 days and since he had spent 12 days in prison was immediately released. He was found to have violated his order by coming to the residence of of Rachel Metger, Pottsville.
Jose Francis Cabrera Jr., 20, Pottsville, was found guilty of indirect criminal contempt and was fined $300. He was found to have violated his order contacting Justina Hauptly, 712 Mahantongo St., Pottsville.
Foreclosure
M&T Bank, Williams-ville, filed suit against Eric A. Lusch alleging he has defaulted mortgage payments on the property at 114 S. Hilltop Rd., New Ringgold, and seek a judgement for $166,955.23 owed on the principal plus interest and costs.
Wells Fargo Bank, N. A., Foer Mills. S.C., filed suit against Joseph F. Breiner and Renee A. Breiner seeking a judgement in amount of $31,793 alleged owed on a mortgage on property at 500 E. Elm St., Tamaqua.
Credit card debt
Discover Bank filed suit against Charles W. Bridges, 276 E. High St., Coaldale, alleging a balance of $2,208.42 is owed on his credit car
Bench warrants
Edward Charles Gunn, 50, Hazleton, had the bench warrant issued against him on May 10, 2010, dissolved by Judge James J. Goodman and bail was reinstated. He must reside at 621 Grant St., Hazleton, and cannot move without court permission. The warrant was issued because he failed to appear before a district judge for a preliminary hearing. He faces a charge of theft of two digital cameras from Walmart Store in Saint Clair.
Beth Anita Troup, 25, Ashland, had her bench warrant dissolved by Goodman and new bail set at $5,000 straight cash bail on each case. Before she is released she must obtain a signed affidavit from her mother stating she may reside at home and if she moves must immediately notify the court. She is ordered to apply to the public defender's office to resolve her cases. Troup faces two counts of theft and one of retail theft.
Christopher B. Spangler, 43, Reading, had his bench warrant dissolved and was remanded to the county prison without bail to await trial on charges of theft of monies from the Minersville police headquarters and driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol. A bench warrant was issued after he failed to keep a court date and was apprehended in Reading after being involved in a fight.
Changes plea
Jaimie Lamar Koch, 48, Pine Grove Township, changed his plea from not guilty when arraigned to guilty when his case was called for trail. President Judge William E. Baldwin accepted the guilty plea to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and deferred sentence to a later date and ordered a pre-sentence investigative report prepared by the adult probation department.
Koch was cited by Trooper Robert Oakley last October when stopped on Meadow Drive in Wayne Township.
Licenses past due
County Treasurer Jacqueline McGovern reminds dog owners that their pet must have a 2012 dog tag. Licenses are valid from January to December of each year. It is a state law all dogs three months or older must have a current license or face a $500 fine plus costs. She warns that a state dog warden plans to canvass the county during the month of June. There is a $2 fee per license if purchased on line at www.padoglicense.com.
Licenses are also in the treasurer's office at the courthouse. If applying by mail a completed applicator must be sent with the proper fee and a metal tag will be mailed. If you no longer have your dog call the treasurers office, (570) 622-1433, so the records can adjusted.
Hunting licenses
The sale of hunting licenses will begin in the county treasurer's office Monday, June 11, for the 2012-13 hunting season. The first day to receive antlerless deer license applications is Monday, July 9. The first day to receive non-resident antlerless deer license applications is Monday, July 30.
