North Parkland-Northern Valley

Northern Valley scored back-to-back runs in the second and third inning and held North Parkland scoreless to earn the 2-0 Lehigh Valley Legion League victory.

Kirk Bender and Cody Hallman had a hit and RBI a piece for Northern Valley. Jacob Kern added a single and scored a run with Zach Palansky helping out with a triple and adding a run as well.

Palansky also helped Valley get the win with his performance on the hill. He pitched seven shutout innings, giving up just five hits, while striking out five.

Tamaqua product Brett Kosciolek also pitched a nice game for North Parkland, giving up just three hits in five innings.
