NV exlpodes in first

Northern Valley got off to a great start against West Allentown, scoring four runs in the first inning and tacking on two more runs in the fifth to gain a 6-1 Lehigh Valley Legion victory.

Tyler Harris was the hitting star on the day for the Chargers. Harris had a double, two RBIs and scored two runs.

Cody Hallman, Kyle Schomp, Kristopher Seiler, and Sawyer Smith all knocked in runs for Northern Valley in a winning effort.

Harris was also solid on the mound combining with Josh Kern to only let up one West Alletnown run.

Kern started, allowing the one run over his four innings of work. He walked one and struck out one. Harris relieved and tossed three shutout innings for a save. He walked one and fanned three.

Austin Kelly and Zach Palansky also helped with a hit apiece for NV.
