Graduates with honors
Michael Lindenmuth graduated magna cum laude from Mount Saint Mary's University, Emmitsburg, Md. on May 13. He is the son of Earl and Lisa Lindenmuth, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Citrano of Nesquehoning and the late Elmer and June Warning of Tamaqua.
Lindenmuth graduated with a bachelor of arts degree with a major in political science and a double minor in history and sports management. He achieved a 4.0 GPA for the spring 2012 semester.
While at Mount Saint Mary's, Lindenmuth was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society and the Phi Alpha History Honor Society, a member of the Student Government Association Advisory Board, peer note taker for students with special learning needs, political columnist for the school newspaper, broadcaster for Mount Saint Mary's radio station and represented Mount Saint Mary's at the annual Mid-Atlantic European Union Simulation Consortium held in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. during his junior and senior year.
Lindenmuth will continue his education at the University of Georgia, where he will pursue his master's degree in political science with a concentration in international relations.
