PV Women's Club elects officers

The Panther Valley Women's Club has elected officers for the 2012-2013 year. Past-president Susan Solt, left, hands the gavel to incoming president Catherine Fritzinger, as recording secretary Cathy Papesh, treasurer Sandra Smell and corresponding secretary Bonnie Dopira look on. The club formed more than two decades ago, and gives generously to a variety of good causes, including the American Cancer Society, the Panther Valley Public Library, scout troops, and food pantries. The club is composed of members from Coaldale, Lansford, Summit Hill and Lake Hauto, and meets, beginning in September, at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month at the Viennese Villa in Coaldale.
