Graduates from Penn State University

Beth Swankoski, daughter of Ray and Patty Swankoski of Coaldale, graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in Letters, Arts and Sciences and an associate of science degree in Physical Therapy Assistant. A 2007 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, she was a consistent dean's list student while attending the university and has accepted a physical therapy assistant position with Golden Living-York Terrace, a skilled nursing facility in Pottsville. She is the granddaughter of Joe and Peggy Rebarchak of Hazle Township, Irene Swankoski of Hazleton and the late Raymond Swankoski.
